George is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Aston, where he oversees the firm’s operations, including property acquisitions and property developments. He has played a lead role in the growth of Aston since becoming President in 2005, including the formation of Aston Realty Investment Company (“ARIC”) in 2015 and Aston Capital in 2018. He is the Chairman of ARIC’s Investment Committee and is Co-Managing partner of Aston Capital. Under George’s leadership, Aston has grown into one of the largest Carolina’s based owners of shopping centers. Prior to joining Aston in 1997, George worked with The Bissell Companies, developer of Ballantyne and SouthPark.

George graduated from Hampden-Sydney College and has served on the College’s Board of Trustees. He currently serves on the board of the Good Fellows Club and the Levine Children’s Hospital Board of Ambassadors. With a passion for education, George has served the community in several capacities including as a Trustee for the John M. Belk Endowment, Charlotte Country Day School, and as the lead volunteer for the YMCA of Greater Charlotte’s Y Readers K-3 literacy program while serving on it’s Board of Directors.
