Barnes is Managing Director and oversees all operations of Aston Realty Investment Company “ARIC,” an investment vehicle that manages a portfolio of Southeast grocery anchored retail real estate. Prior to joining Aston in 2020, Barnes worked for Edens, Goldman Sachs, and was an officer in the U.S. Army. Barnes received his undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
