From the beginning, Sedgefield Shopping Center was a neighborhood shopping center, and the intention was to modernize it to become the neighborhood center of today with a wide range of offerings to match the array of residents (long term & new) that make up Sedgefield and South End today. Aston and Marsh Properties co-developed this grocery-anchored shopping center. Phase I comprising of a 54,145 sf Harris Teeter with 12,570 sf of small shops. The new project returns to the exact block where the original South Blvd Harris Teeter stood nearly 30 years ago, the architecture embraces the nostalgia of the mid-century and Harris Teeter’s 1960’s roots by incorporating one of the company’s original logos on the exterior of the building.
