Barnes is the Managing Director of Aston Realty Investment Company (“ARIC”), a privately held portfolio of predominantly grocery anchored retail centers in the Southeastern US.  Barnes is  responsible for overseeing all aspects of ARIC operations including asset management, investments, and capital markets. Prior to joining Aston, he worked with EDENS, Goldman Sachs, and was an U.S. Army Officer. Barnes received his BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point and MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
